One of the most useful, natural and least expensive products you can put on your hair is vinegar. Yes, I know it smells - but it fades. Don't use it minutes before you walk out the door. Rinsing with vinegar every so often will strip all the soap and product residue from your hair and leave it very soft and shiny. It's worth the bit of smell - which really does go away, honest.
